Meet Jada!

Hi, I’m Jada LaBounty, a therapist in Madison, WI who specializes in supporting survivors of sexual assault. Many of my clients come to me carrying anger, grief, or fear that feels too heavy to hold alone.

I understand how overwhelming the aftermath can be. Medical exams, legal processes, and the pressure to “move forward” often add to the weight of recovery. My role as a therapist is to create a safe, steady space where you don’t have to face it all alone.

After working together, many clients feel lighter, more secure, and more capable of handling life’s challenges. Therapy can help you reclaim your safety, voice, and confidence.

Your Healing Journey

Healing from sexual assault is not a straight path—it’s a process that unfolds at your pace. Together, we’ll explore your story with care and move through each part of the journey.

You’ll gain tools to:

Understanding the Impact: Explore how trauma affects your body, emotions, and sense of safety, so you can begin to make sense of your experiences.

Finding Safety and Stability: Learn grounding techniques and calming strategies to manage flashbacks, triggers, or dissociation, and begin to feel more at home in your own body.

Processing Painful Memories: When you feel ready, gently work through memories of the assault so they no longer hold the same power or control over your daily life.

Releasing Shame and Reclaiming Boundaries: Challenge self-blame, release guilt, and strengthen your ability to set boundaries that protect your healing.

Rebuilding Trust and Connection: Begin restoring trust in yourself and others, reconnect with intimacy on your terms, and nurture relationships that feel safe and supportive.

This isn’t about “just moving on.” It’s about creating lasting changes that allow you to live with more freedom, safety, and self-compassion after sexual assault.
